From 2013, SOING has been one of the Italferr qualified suppliers for carrying out geophysical investigations supporting railway sector projects.
Currently, ongoing investigations are being carried out in Sicily, on the Palermo-Catania line for the Fiumetorto-Raddusa segment, and in Cancello Arnone (CE). These include electromagnetic surveys to search for buried metal masses, down hole and surface seismic surveys, and refraction tomography for P and S waves and MASW surveys.
